Display equipment and furniture

Trade shows and exhibitions offer companies an opportunity to meet up with their customers and clients. It offers a platform to showcase your business products and have personal selling relationship with your customers which can provide invaluable feedback.  However, trade shows offer a challenge to all participants. While it is true that trade expos attract a lot of visitors and customers to the grounds it is also a fact that companies and marketers are also numerous. Competitors sometimes end up with display booths side by side or opposite to each other. The challenge is how to capture the interest and attention of passing potential customers. The number of traffic you can generate to visit your display booth might in the long run determine the rate of success of you participation in the trade event.

A very useful tool to be unique and attractive to visitors is creating the right display design. With the selection of the right display furniture and equipment you should be able to work with efficient designers to create an effective display design. The options to creating a display design and the kind of materials you can use is quite numerous. The baseline however should be to create a design using tastefully selected furniture pieces to create a favorable image and perception of your company.

The furniture and equipment pieces that you would need to decide should be based on the exhibition span, the accessories in the display booth, the product display stands as well as other materials for use as signs and administrative purposes. Care should be give to pick a booth that is well sited to take advantage of approaching traffic. The booth should be large enough to allow for the display of all your products as well as accommodate a fair number of customers at a time. Use of colorful banners and boards as signs is a must. With appropriate graphics the letterings should be done bold and clear. It should be placed to be visible from afar.

Inside the booth the right product display stands and panels should be used. Go for stands that are durable, light, easy to transport and set up.  Display pieces that are foldable with multiple uses, adjustable and of good taste should be sought out. The display furniture could be custom made just for your company or a trade expo. It could also be bought off as used display materials or even gotten on hire. As long as the display equipment whether table top, foldable or glass display shelves are neat, of good taste and able to display the product while not detracting from the company’s image then it is okay. Display patterns could be made to be flexible so that each day slight variations could be made to give a fresh look.

A lot of people concentrate on the large obvious things and forget the simple yet important items. For example, source of water must be ascertained. The electric sockets should be sought out and tested. The need for additional equipment such as AC sets, alternative power generating source, internet connection, large LCD display screens and others such items should be arranged for in advance. The need to beautify the place should not be overlooked. Consider the use of flowers and choice art pieces to add color, charm and a bit of class.  Since expos are also retail point of sale events it might be necessary to have a little bit of private space to conduct some little more private business discussions with some clients and partners.
